We planted lots more native trees.

On Tuesday the 7th of December 2010 the whole school went to Kerr Bush. When we got there we did some weeding and then we went for a big long bush walk. The bush was really dark but a good walk. After the walk we all did lots more weeding. there were heaps of weeds to be done.

In 2008 Kerr Bush was full of sycamore trees and the landcare group got these removed and replaced them with natives trees. Children at Myross Bush School all planted a native tree each over the past two years. In total 500 trees have been planted.

Some of the children in the garden club have won some trees in the Environment awards to plant in Kerr Bush.
