In 2008 Kerr Bush was full of sycamore trees and the landcare group got these removed and replaced them with natives trees. Children at Myross Bush School all planted a native tree each over the past two years. In total 500 trees have been planted.

Some of the children in the garden club have won some trees in the Environment awards to plant in Kerr Bush.
